A Trip To Nice (which is really "nice")

Steven Foster: “You may wonder, 'How can I leave behind if I am just coming back to it? How can I make a new beginning if I simply return to the old?' The answer lies in the return. You will not come back to the 'same old thing.' What you return to has changed because you have changed. Your perceptions will be altered. You will not incorporate into the same body, status, or world you left behind. The river has been flowing while you were gone. Now it does not look like the same river.”

The great thing about being in Monaco along the French Riviera is that you are close to 3 countries. You could very easily eat breakfast in Monte Carlo, drive 10 minutes for lunch in Italy (Ventimiglia) and drive 15 minutes for dinner in France (Cap D'Ail). So today we decided to do just that. We had breakfast in Monaco and then took a 35 minute bus ride to Nice (France). Nice is a beautiful French city with a lovely seaside promenade as well as a beautiful and historic Old City. We walked around through Nice, had lunch in a nice bistro and bought some chocolates from the world famous Lac Patisserie. And although we didn't go to Italy for dinner, we ate in a lovely Italian restaurant in Monaco!

Great chocolate!

In all fairness, I had to get a sampling of each
