By the time we got our bearings yesterday it was late and getting dark so we called it an early night after the 7 hour flight. We got up today and started exploring Dubai.

| A view of the famous Palm Island project where they are building many homes, hotels and apartment buildings on man-made islands in the ocean. The islands together resemble a palm tree and in the far right background you can see Atlantis Dubai which is an exact replica of the one in the Bahamas. |
