Italia (Toscana) - Pisa

"A man who has not been in Italy, is always conscious of an inferiority, from his not having seen what it is expected a man  should see." --Samuel Johnson

On this beautiful day we took the one hour train ride from Florence to Pisa. And no matter how many times you have been to Italy, a visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa will excite, surprise, interest and make you wonder every time. We spent time in the square, visited the Basilica and Cathedral and then found a nice trattoria and had a simple but hearty Tuscan lunch. Enjoy the pictures!

Captivating every time

As the winged lion is the symbol of Venice, the bear is Pisa's symbol
