Today Ashley wanted to spend a large part of our last day in Venice (off to Tuscany and our stay in Florence tomorrow) looking at and playing with the island's large rabbit population (in fact, Ashley called the island "Bunny Island"). So, after breakfast we took a quick boat ride into Venice, did some shopping, had a quick snack and headed back to the island. Despite everyone telling us that the rabbits were very timid, Ashley was the first one I saw who was able to get close to and even pet one of them. What made it even better was that it was her favorite little white one!
