Our last couple of days in Hong Kong

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” – Maya Angelou

Two days before we left Hong Kong, we took the tram up the mountains on Hong Kong Island to Victoria's Peak (the highest point in Hong Kong). It was very cloudy (the pictures don't do justice to the spectacular view) but I wanted to experience the tram ride. When we came down from the Peak, we took a cab to the Star Ferry which travels from Hong Kong Island to the mainland part of Hong Kong, which is Kowloon. It is from the Kowloon side that the world famous Hong Kong Island skyline is viewed- the view was spectacular!
