Farewell to Dubai and the Burj

“Roam abroad in the world, and take thy fill of its enjoyments before the day shall come when thou must quit it for good.”
Saadi

Yesterday we left Dubai and the Burj. It was really difficult as we were pampered and relaxed each day of our stay. And the last day was no different! It was even better, if that is possible. Our day started with an incredible a la carte breakfast served in our room. Then, Hari, one of the Executive Butlers and someone who knows everything about the Burj (since he has been working there since it opened) prepared a beautiful jacuzzi bath with rose petals and fragrant oils for Aracelis and Ashley. We were then offered the Rolls Royce Phantom to take us to the airport (the Burj has the largest collection of Rolls Royces in the world!) As we pulled out of the hotel, I had the driver stop on the bridge for me to get one last picture. It turned out to be one of the best I had taken, with the sun going down alongside the Burj. We then drove to the airport and viewed many of the interesting buildings recently built and under construction in Dubai. We will really miss Dubai and especially the Burj, but Europe is calling!

With all of the building going on in Dubai, for how long will this be the  world's tallest building
